{UNK}Clan UT3 Cache Cleaner Readme

 

Description:

 

This utility reads the UT3 Cache, determines what files are maps, appropriately renames them and moves them to you designated Custom Maps folder.

 

For the Cache and Custom Maps folders be sure to browse all the way to the desired folder!!!

 

Currently supports War, DM, CTF Maps

 

Will create a zip backup in the cache folder, if enabled. Will delete old zip backups found.

 

The feature to delete the entire cache did not make it to this release...

 

Installation:

 

Make folder C:\Program Files\UT3 CacheCleaner.

Move UT3 Cache Cleaner.exe to that folder, place the shortcut icon on your desktop or where ever you like.

 

NOTE:

 

When run, you will see 3 .dlls appear in the Program Files Folder. This is normal and required for the executable.

 

Limitations:

 

If Zip Backup is enabled, zipfile size cannot exceed 2GB. This is a limitation of the Zip Extender, not a limitation of my code.
